Days 1 and 2
What a whirlwind!!!
I'm going to blog as fast as I can because I don't have much time. Please ignore spelling errors, as I wont even have time to click the check spell button.
The flight was uneventful. I sat in the middle seat on the plane and the guy to my right had 4" long arm hairs and was hogging the arm rest. His hairs kept brushing me and it was a little disconcerting. When we finally landed we sat at the gate for like 10 minutes before they started disembarking - hot and uncomfortable! We managed to find the baggage claim but became a bit confused when we tried to find "P4" - the place we needed to pick up the shuttle. Once we found the "air train" we caught the last one of the night and headed to P4. We didn't have to wait long for the hotel shuttle and then were on our way to the Sheraton. Upon arrival we hit the beds and crashed (around 2AM).
The next day we got up at 8- made to back to the rental car place by 9:30 and then headed off for RI. We unwittingly had mapquested our route through the bronx and Manhattan!!! The traffic was pretty crazy, but it was neat to drive through the city. Many roads crossed over the same spot and it's insane to see the many different levels of the city. After driving on I-95 for a while we got sick of the traffic and ditched it for smaller country roads. I have to say I love Conneticut! My heart is in New England. After arriving in Swansea, MA and checking into the hotel we had a few hours to kill before the wedding so we decided to go walk on our favorite trail by the water. It was so gorgeous!!
The wedding was so exceptional! I'm going to post a seperate blog shortly after the trip to give you all the details. But, in summary, we both got pretty drunk - I ended up puking right when we got into our hotel room, but I am a light weight after all.

The Rhode Island & Bermuda adventure
In 5 short days we will be leaving Denver for Rhode Island and Bermuda. First we're off to Rhode Island to attend the Strittmatter/Almeida wedding. Then it's off to Bermuda on a 7 day cruise out of New York City! We'll post quick blogs of our trip while we're there and then put up more pics than you'll want to see when we return.
Stay tuned!
Oh and if any one has suggestions for a lunch place in Times Square, let us know!
